EnderUNIX 12. yazılımını sunar : CheckDNS !
EnderUNIX Yazılım Geliştiricilerinden Atılım BOY tarafından geliştirilen
CheckDNS,
İnternet Alan Adı Sunucusu analiz ve rapor programıdır.
Sunucuda hizmet verilen alan adlarının hala iligli sunucuya mı yada hangi
sunucuya yönelendirildiği analiz ve rapor edilmektedir. Sonuçlar hem
HTML hemde
konsol çıktıları olarak üretilmektedir. Html çıktılarında ek olarak alan
adlarına ait MX ve WWW kayıtları da rapor edilmektedir. Bu program özellikle
ISP'ler (İnternet Servis Sağlayıcısı) için yazılmıştır.
Program C dilinde geliştirilmiştir, POSIX uyumlu ve 'resolv' kütüpanesini
barındıran bütün sistemlerde kullanılabilir, test edilen işletim sistemleri;

EnderUNIX CheckDNS becomes the 12th EnderUNIX tool.
EnderUNIX CheckDNS is a domain name server analysis and reporting tool.
It checks and reports whether a domain name, hosted by your organization,
is still in use, and if so, reports whether your name servers
are still the delegated name servers of the domain name in question.
Reports are generated both to the console and as HTML output. HTMLs also
include information about the MX and WWW records of the domain name.
The tool is expected to be of great use for Internet Service Providers who
are in need of keeping track of lame dns records.
CheckDNS has been written in C language, is POSIX compliant and can be
compiled
and run in all platforms providing 'resolv' library. It has been tested on
FreeBSD, Linux, OpenBSD and Solaris.
