Well, in this case is just a name similarity, on my opinion.

The DARKSTAR's YaLI is a pure Qt application, written in C/C++, and a 
sub-system (specialized on installation) of ALICE (Advanced Linux 
Installation and Configuration Environment), our configuration
environment, allready written in C/C++ and Qt...

The ALICE or YaLI not use anymore the Python language, used to write
the Pardus YaLI or another Pardus tools...
