[Pardus-kullanicilari] mp3 desteği nasıl?

sorumun mantıklı olan tarafı şu: mesela fedora aşağıda açıkladığı gibi MP3
formatını patent ve lisans sorunlarından dolayı kullanmıyor. diyor ki biz
kanunlara saygılıyız alternatif formatları desteliyoruz. Pardus'u
ilgilendiren tarafı ve benim merak ettiğim ise şu: Pardus mp3 desteği için
lisans/patent vs. sorunu yaşamıyor mu?


Fedora is unable to include support for the *MP3* format because it requires
patented technologies and the patent holder has not provided licenses that
are compatible with Fedora's requirements. *MP3* is currently the most
widely used format for lossy music compression and is widely supported among
music players. The *MP3* patents are protected by United States law and
international treaties, and the Fedora Project will honor the applicable
laws and treaties.

There are third-party packages which can add *MP3* support to many of the
media players provided in Fedora Core and Extras, but it is up to the
end-user to acquire and install those packages.
