IT Systems Expert (Project Team Leader) (Ref Code: IT-Sys)
Qualifications and Skills
. Graduate level qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering
or related field, preferably with a postgraduate management
qualification
. Good inter-personal skills, adaptability and social awareness and
ability to work within complex institutional and organizational settings
. Fluency in English (oral and writing)
. Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
Professional Experience
. Minimum 10 years of professional experience
. Minimum 5 years of experience relating to complex IT systems design
and administration
. Minimum 3 years of experience with web-oriented systems, including
groupware, portals and web mapping systems
. Minimum 3 years of experience with web application language i.e. Java
or related software development based on a RDBMS
. Proven team member or leader experience in IT related projects
(including EC funded projects)
. Capabilities to co-ordinate, supervise, manage, monitor and evaluate
all aspects of the project's implementation including financial
administration
. Experience of Information Systems implementations and project
management
. Experience in the implementation of relevant EU procedures regarding
the management of EU Funded Projects such as PCM
Functions, Tasks
The "IT Systems Expert" will be the Project Team Leader and will
coordinate the relations between technical experts, coordinate
implementation of an IT computer-based system, prepare periodic plans
and reports, etc. More detailed information will be provided to
shortlisted candidates.

Senior Software Expert (Ref. Code: IT-SSE)
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate level qualification in Computer Science,
Software Engineering or related field

Turkish is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
Professional Experience
- Experience of Information Systems databases,
implementations
- Experience in IT related projects (including EC funded
projects)
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relational database
and applications design
- Minimum 3 years experience in web based and n-tier
software development and Java
- Sound Experience on Software analysis and high level
Software design of large scale software projects
- Experience in Data convention and integration
- Ability to give practical advice on databases, issues
relating to EU rapid alert system, food safety and control database
Functions, Tasks
The Senior Software Expert will be responsible for:
- collaborative work with long and short-tem twinning technical
assistance to support the activities,
- Monitoring and Information Systems in accordance with the EC
requirements,
- Analysis and high level design of the system for FSIS and
RASFF,
- Technical assistance to the detail design, preparation,
development and installation of FSIS and RASFF,
- Test, Verification and validation of FSIS and RASFF.
