Debian Sarge 3.1 bilgisayarima postfix kurdum ancak surekli problem
cikartiyor. 1 haftalik google aramalari sonucunda sanirim problemi
buldum. Problem makinemdeki domainname ile ilgili.
Diyelim ki makinemdeki kullanici adim tolga ve hostname'im balci.
uname -a komutunu verince hostname'i dogru bir sekilde balci olarak
goruyorum. hostname komutunu verdigimde de ayni -ve dogru- sekilde
balci olarak goruyorum. Ancak hostname -a komutunun sonucunda
"hostname: unknown host" hata mesajini aliyorum.
Eger kendi makinemi ping'lemek istersem
ping 127.0.0.1
ile ping'yebiliyorken
ping balci
komutuna "unknown host" cevabini aliyorum. Unutmadan, echo $HOSTNAME
de dogru bir sekilde balci ciktisini veriyor.
Okudugum forumlarin birisinde (hangisi oldugunu sormayin, o kadar cok
forum okudum ki unuttum), problemin sanirim NX ile ilgili olabilecegi
gibi bir yorum vardi.
Benim anladigim kadariyla sistem 127.0.0.1 ile balci (hostname)
arasinda bir baglanti kuramiyor. Mantigima gore eger bu sekilde bir
baglanti kurabilseydi, 127.0.0.1 ve balci ping'lerine ayni sekilde
cevap vermesi gerekirdi.
Simdi ise yarayabilecek ciktilari yaziyorum:

Sanirim ne oldugu isi bilen birisi icin ortada ve aslinda ben cok
kucuk bir noktayi goremiyorum. Ancak bilgisayar aglari ile ilgili
hicbir bilgim olmadigi icin ne oldugunu anlayamiyorum ve ne yapmam
gerektigini de bilmiyorum.
