Merhaba
Finlandiya Adalet Bakanlığı'nın OpenOffice'e geçmesiyle ilgili çıkan
bir haberi aşağıda bulabilirsiniz. Adalet Bakanlığı, bu konu ile
ilgili olarak 2005'te bir rapor hazırlamıştı. DPT'nin de OpenOffice,
Linux ve açık standartların kullanımını öneren ve 10'dan fazla kişi
ve kurumun ortak görüşünü içeren bir çalışması
(http://www.kdep7.org.tr), ayrıca Türkiye'deki OpenOffice kullanımının
yaygınlaştırılmasını sağlayan bir grubu (www.openoffice.org.tr) var.
Not 1: Bizim Adalet Bakanlığımız da bir ara OpenOffice'e geçiş yapmak
üzereydi. Biraz fazlaca ve gereksiz yere tasarruf etmeleri nedeniyle proje
durduruldu.
Not 2: Finlandiya'daki arkadaşlara da özellikle sordum, bilişim
alanında çalışma yapan dernekler BSA ile ortak iş yapmıyormuş.
Herhalde prensip sahibi oldukları içindir.
İyi çalışmalar
Görkem

Ministry of Justice of Finland has made the decision to adopt the Open
Source OpenOffice.org suite as its office software from beginning of 2007.
Ministry of Justice and its branch of administration will also adopt
OpenDocument Format standard as the file format for its documents.
All 10000 Windows workstations of the ministry and its branch of
administration will be fitted with OpenOffice.org suite and readiness for
OpenDocument by end of 2006. OpenOffice.org replaces currently used Lotus
SmartSuite software so that OpenOffice.org will cover about 85% of total
use, while Microsoft Office will cover about 15%.
The Ministry of Justice published a report in early 2005, which recommended
transition to OpenOffice. After the report, the ministry started a pilot
phase with over 150 users, ending in September 2006. Results of the pilot
were that the functionality of OpenOffice was sufficient for the
administrative branch of Ministry of Justice and that the compatibility with
Microsoft Office was high.
Piloting used OpenOffice.org version 2, which uses OpenDocument standard as
its default file format. OpenDocument was accepted as international ISO
standard (ISO 26300) in May 2006.
The reports of the Ministry of Justice are publicly available, as are an
installation manual and a user's guide. The publications are available (in
