[Gelistirici] Chromium ve Gecko Media player

Merhaba,

Bugün Chromium'daki Gecko mediaplayer hatasına [1] şöyle bir yorum düştü:

    For ubuntu natty there is an update of Gecko-mediaplayer to 1.0
    In the changelog there is gecko-mediaplayer (1.0.0-0ubuntu1) natty; urgency=low

     - Build without gconf support, which should fix the hang with chromium

Chromium geliştiricilerinden birinin cevabı ise şu şekilde:

    Ok, there's several Ubuntu users who report it works and one OpenSUSE user
    who says it doesn't. However, OpenSUSE doesn't have a gecko-mediaplayer package,
    so the user is building it from SVN. In which case, (s)he need to build it
    without gconf support.

    I'm going to go ahead and un-blacklist the plugin. This will take effect in Chrome 11.


Bizde Gecko'yu bu şekilde derleyelim mi ? (zamanında konuşulmuştu zaten)
Chromium 11.x ile berabe açık bir şekilde gelirse ve bizdek Gecko mediaplayer
-without-gconf ile derlenmdiyse sorun çıkabilir ileride (unutur gideriz yani :))

Gecko'da bu değişikliğe gidersek, ben de Chromium'da eklentiyi açarım
doğrudan. En azından bir süre deneyelim. Ne derseniz ?
