Thanks Rajeev. This doesn't look very complicated, installing a Pardus and
stripping down to have only system.base component shall be sufficient. The
issue might happen due to the init scripts, as Pardus does not use any
/etc/rc.X kind of directories, as well as network configuration which is a
bit different.
