Yaw harika bir haber, gözlerim yaşardı resmen... İmecenin, işbirliğinin
gücü... Topu topu bundan 10-15 sene önce birisi çıkıp da deseydi ki
"birileri çıkıp IE gibi bir ağ göstericiyi açık kaynak olarak
geliştirecek, 8 milyon kişi indirecek, üstelik bu gönüllü insanlar
birleşip reklam kampanyası yapacaklar, NY Times'a tam sayfa ilan
verecekler, reklam için 10,000 kişiden 50,000$ bağış toplamayı
hedeflerken, 25,000 kişiden 250,000$ toplamayı başaracaklar, ve tüm
dünyadaki taraftarları bu olayı partilerle kutlayacak" hadi leen, der
geçerdim...
Firefox'un başarı öyküsü, son kullanıcı için, masaüstünde, OpenOffice'i
falan geçti, ve OS dünyasının sancağını taşımak ve en ön sırada gitmek
görevini layığıyla üstlendi.
Allah bilir, fazladan gelen 200,000$ destekle, bu programa kaç yeni
özellik daha eklenir... Ne kadar daha reklam yapılır, tanıtılır, kaç
taraftar daha kazanılır...
Bakalım daha neler göreceğiz... Bakalım ne zaman kolay kullanılır Linux
dağıtımları Windows'un yerini almaya başlayacak...
