    MErhabalar Cdden knoppixi başlatıp kullanıyorum. Fakat çalışmama için PINGO isimli bir programı kullanmam gerekiyor. Linux konusunda çok acemiyim ve program nasıl kurulur bilemiyorum. Bir programı cd den başlattığım knoppixte kurup çalıştırabilirmiyim? Setup klasörünün yapısı aşağıdadır.
    Yardımlarınız için çok teşekkürler

    How to install the PINGO-package

    1. To compile you simply stay in the main directory pingo and type:

    prompt> configure

    prompt> gmake

    Set CC and CFLAGS before configure if you will not use the default.

    ATTENTION If for some reason "gmake" doesn't work on your computer you can

    use "make" after changing the line

    OBJS = $(SRCS:.c=.o)

    in the "Makefile" in the src directory into

    OBJS = ext.o extdo.o fftleg.o grib.o statistic.o

    ATTENTION Linux -users. We detected a configure ERROR with SUSE Linux 7.0 or

    later on Intel based computers. Maybe this problem also occurs

    with other LINUX distributions.

    It seems that the configure script is not able to check sys/param.h

    to see if it is a Big- or Little- Endian machine. Intel based

    computers are Little-endian machines but the configure script

    sets the flag for Big-endian. To solve this problem run 'configure'

    then go to the src-dir in the Pingo-dir and have a look at the

    configure.h file. Search for "#define WORDS_BIGENDIAN 1" and delete

    this line. Run 'gmake' in the Pingo-dir..

    ANOTHER ATTENTION Solaris 8 allows 64bit executables. To translate the PINGOs

    use -xtarget=ultra -xarch=v9b as additional CFLAGS. xarch depends

    on the architecture type. v9b is ok for SUNFire 880 machines.

    If the optimization is switched on (-O) this may take some time!

    2. The resulting binary is only one file called "pingo". Put this one to

    the soft-links in the "bin"-directory.

    3. Make the bin-dir available using the path in the global_login or

    use an environment-variable like $PINGO

    4. We've left out the grb5 .. grb8 links, cause they don't make sense.

    If you need 2**64 steps as resolution between min and max within

    one grib-record (in between results are always 8Byte), you are free

    to set the link. Also, by removing i.e. all "pingo"-links, this format

    is disabled.

    5. http://www.mad.zmaw.de/Pingo/pingohome.html is the starting web-page.
