Evet mümkündür. Exceed programı ile (ben dediğiniz seyi bu program ile yapıyorum.) yapabilirsiniz. Denemedim ama cygwin'in yeni çıkan cygwin visual da bu işi yapabiliyormuş galiba. cygwin ücretsiz olduğu için işinize daha çok yarar sanırım. İlla X window çalıştırmanız gerekmiyorsa, cygwin'in normal sürümleri ile ya da mesela telnet ile windows'tan linux makineye bağlanabilirsiniz.
