You've waited. We've hacked. The great drought without Ximian GNOME
updates is finally over!
We have been spending the last month and a half creating a better
infrastructure for building and distributing updates, and are finally
finished. We are now returning to our regularly scheduled updates.
A large number of packages have been built and updated for our
supported platforms:
* gimp 1.2.1
* gnapster 1.4.2
* gnumeric 0.61
* xmms 1.2.4
* librep 0.13.4
* rep-gtk 0.15
* sawfish 0.36
* gedit 0.9.4
* abiword 0.7.12
* gnome-libs 1.2.11
These packages are now up for:
* Red Hat Linux 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, and 7.0
* TurboLinux 6.0
* Mandrake Linux 6.1, 7.0, and 7.1
* Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4
* Debian GNU/Linux 2.2, Debian unstable
* LinuxPPC 2000
* Yellow Dog Linux Champion Server 1.2
* Solaris 7, 8
Ogg Vorbis support is included for XMMS on the x86-based
platforms. LinuxPPC, Yellow Dog Linux, and Solaris support will be
forthcoming.
gnucash 1.4.9 has been updated for Red Hat, Caldera, Debian, Mandrake,
TurboLinux, and LinuxPPC. We'll have 1.4.10 up for all our platforms
soon, and SuSE support will be in as soon as we resolve some building
issues.
Abiword and gnome-libs will be updated for Solaris shortly.
We are now partially through a stack of updates that will also
include:
* sodipodi 0.21
* gdm 2.0.95
