Özellikle Linux'da yeni bir uygulama kurmanın işletim sisteminin var olan
bileşenlerini etkilememesinin güvenlikte büyük bir ayrıcalık ve avantaj
olduğu, yeni Linux'a başlamak üzere karar aşamasındaki kullanıcılara
"UZERİNE BASARAK" anlatmalıyız diye düşünüyorum.
Aşağıda bir yanıt ve bu yanıta neden olan pek yaygın bir şikayeti
iletiyorum.

Gates is
unable to separate "operating system" from "application". Application
updates,
especially, should not break the OS nor should it break other applications;
but, they
do. Microsoft has been developing operating systems for 20 years and they
still
can't get it right.
