Why Linux?

It's not the easiest system to use; that's a Mac. [*] It's not the most

system; there's no such thing. [*]

But it's the only system where you can get the source code for every
component and tinker with it, if you really want to. Not for everybody,
Linux is the computer world's equivalent of building and remodeling your
own home, exactly the way you want it.
