For those who run TeX on Linux machines and do not use X Windows:

I have written a front end for GhostScript, enabling you to view your
PostScript files (generated by dvips, for example) comfortably.

It is called BMV, and it is currently version 1.0, alpha release, should be
obtainable from ftp.funet.fi:/pub/OS/Linux/tools/bmv-1.0.a.tar.gz
(or maybe from 'incoming' for a while).

You can expect some bugs, as it is alpha release, but give it a try anyway.

Good luck.
